Two men bonded over footy and whisky bought Corowa's derelict Murray River flour mill from the local council for a dollar. The 1970-shuttered building now houses a single malt distillery using Murray River water and grain from local farmers, with copper stills made on-site. The town that started the Australian Federation movement now makes whisky from it.
