On the Castlereagh Highway in Capertee, operator Crafty makes single malt whisky in small batches under names like *The Capertee*, *Strangelove for War*, and *Redacted*. There's a smoked variant too. When not at the still, he co-hosts *Aussie Craft Distillers: Worts & All*, a podcast on the independent spirits scene. The distillery also produces gin and vodka under the Ironfest 'Wlonk' label.
