Curtain FigMotel

In the heart of the historic village of Yungaburra, around 700 metres up on the Atherton Tablelands, this small owner-run place keeps six modern rooms plus a deluxe spa bungalow. There is a saltwater pool and a licensed bar, and each room is reverse-cycle air-conditioned with tea and coffee. Mark and Jane Johnson run it as a base for the Tablelands' waterfalls, crater lakes and the Curtain Fig Tree nearby. Small dogs are welcome; families are well catered for.
