Forty-odd years after buying this block of Daintree rainforest, the owners finally opened it to guests in 2017. The 25 acres run on solar power and mountain-fed water; cabins look directly onto Thornton Peak (1,374m). A licensed café serves a menu that shifts with available local produce. Breakfast, cooked on-site, is included.
