Elabana Falls
Lamington, QLD
A beautiful waterfall accessed via a walk through subtropical and warm temperate rainforest in Lamington National Park. The falls drop into a fern-lined pool surrounded by ancient trees draped in moss and epiphytes. The trail passes through some of the finest examples of Gondwana rainforest in the region with enormous strangler figs and walking stick palms. Birdlife is prolific along the track with regent bowerbirds and Albert lyrebirds commonly heard if not seen.
