Twenty years across arts, fashion and textiles preceded Emma Rea's pivot to jewellery — and the background shows. Working from a High Street studio in Northcote, she hand-finishes pieces in recycled silver drawn from 16th–19th century Memento Mori imagery: skulls, serpents, holy motifs. Gothic in sensibility, considered in sourcing — 75 per cent recycled silver, local supply chains, conflict-mineral compliance.
