Born in 1985 from locals watching coastal bush disappear to development, this five-kilometre-south-of-Batemans-Bay garden holds three distinct collections: living plants, the Wallace Herbarium, and a seed bank. The 2019–20 fires tore through it; much has been rebuilt, with native vegetation left to regenerate on its own terms. Volunteers log around 15,000 hours here each year.
