Canberra Wine District, Murrumbateman, New South WalesGet Directions

Planted in 1998 by one couple with a contract to BRL Hardy, Four Winds has grown into a three-generation operation making Riesling, Shiraz, and sparkling wines from vines at Murrumbateman and the neighbouring Kyeema Estate. The cellar door, built partly on a government grant and opened in 2013, serves wood-fired pizzas among the vines. The Riesling is the one to track.
