The Glass House Mountains are 25-million-year-old volcanic plugs — rhyolite and trachyte forced up through tertiary vents, then stripped back by weathering to bare rock spires. The ecolodge sits in their shadow on Barrs Road, offering accommodation in converted Victorian train carriages, a restored church loft, and bungalows. Over 105 bird species have been recorded on the property.
