Since 1976, locals have been throwing pots in a former Benowa primary school. One kiln was built by founding president Tom Wardell and is still firing today. The Post Office Gallery — a relocated heritage building on the same site — sells members' work every Saturday. Two annual markets, regular workshops, and decades of community classes have produced some nationally recognised names.
