Grafton had its own brewery back in 1952 — a source of civic pride fierce enough to spark a brawl in State Parliament. Rick Firth and his family bought the North Street complex in 2019 and have been restoring it since: solar panels on the roof, old brewery timbers repurposed throughout, and now a working brewery, distillery, and coffee roastery on site.
