Hagan Furniture& Timberwork

Ryan Clayton is the fifth-generation owner of a Toowoomba woodworking business tracing directly to James Hagan's 1890 joinery in Newtown. The lineage runs through French polishing, cabinetmaking, and furniture restoration across 130-odd years and four family workshops. Today, 20-plus artisans work across two divisions — Hagan Furniture Timberwork and Hagan Coatings — making this one of Queensland's most quietly continuous timber trades.
