Tamara started MAINE+MARA after an accident left her needing facial reconstruction, which shifted how she thought about the way shape and what we wear change how we see ourselves. A former creative director, she designs statement jewellery cut from acrylic on a local laser and set with 18k gold, steel and mirrored gems, built to stack, mismatch and adjust. Egyptian mythology runs through the Cleopatra, Medusa and Isis pieces, all made in Sydney.
