Mother and daughter Mieke and Charlie De Deyne opened their first Ceramic House in Newstead in 2017, expanding to Morningside in 2021. Both hold fine arts degrees in ceramics and jewellery, and both still work the studios daily. The focus is utilitarian ware — things made to be used — browsable alongside the kilns where they're made.
