Tanya and David Neal have farmed their 60-acre property outside Longreach since 2014. In 2020 they opened it to guests: canvas glamping tents set on Mitchell Grass plains, far enough from town that the night sky actually delivers. The grass itself — four species, covering 19% of Queensland's native pasture — is the landscape, not just the backdrop.
