Volunteer-run on Liston Street, this museum holds photographs, documents and artefacts tracing the Nambucca Valley's past, from Gumbaynggirr culture and tools to the pioneering timber sawyers, seafarers and early settlers. Displays cover the shipwrecks of the Nambucca River, the 'Royal Tar' expedition to Paraguay, and the town's role as birthplace of the Nippers surf lifesaving movement in 1961. Open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
