One of Queensland's oldest hotels, licensed in 1864 and originally a shearer's accommodation for Nindigully Station. From the late 1800s it served as a Cobb and Co coach change station. The pub remains in its original condition on the Moonie River banks. It serves freshly prepared, locally sourced meals including the signature 1.2kg 'Road Train' burger, offers guestrooms and free camping, hosts the Pig Races fundraiser in October, and welcomes well-behaved dogs.
