Claimed by the owner

At the end of the Mornington Peninsula, the century-old Tintagel property sits above Bass Strait on deep limestone and calcareous sand — soils that push minerality hard into Portsea Estate's Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Visits are by appointment, which keeps things appropriately focused. General manager and assistant winemaker Will Ross also runs the property's Main Ridge plantings, a newer venture which also offers homestay accommodation.
