The Renzaglia story starts in Illinois, where Mark's parents planted vines in a dry county in 1982. Mark and his wife Sandy brought that instinct to O'Connell in 1997 — then an uncharted wine valley. Now son Sam runs the operation across seven hectares and four sites. Visits are by appointment, through a winery built beside the family home overlooking the Wambuul Valley.
