Tellurian farms its Toolleen vineyard organically, drawing Shiraz, Grenache, Fiano, Vermentino and a clutch of Italian and Rhône whites from Heathcote's ancient Cambrian soils. The cellar door opens Friday to Sunday; Saturdays add long lunches by Ms Batterhams. The amphora Grenache is worth singling out — a signal that this family operation is paying close attention.
