The Riddoch Arts& Cultural Centre

Mount Gambier's regional public gallery, run by the city council and free to enter, named after the pioneer John Riddoch. It holds a substantial collection, including the Rodney Gooch Collection of Central Desert art, and runs a changing program of contemporary exhibitions, often foregrounding First Nations artists. Public programs, guided tours and the free Craitbul film screenings, which draw on the Boandik story of the crater lakes, round out a genuine cultural anchor for the Limestone Coast.
