A true outback pub on the banks of the Darling River, trading since 1894 and counted among Australia's last genuine bush pubs. The timber hotel keeps a bar, bistro and beer garden at the centre of tiny Tilpa, its walls signed by generations of passing travellers. Meals, cold beer and simple rooms draw river-run tourers and locals alike, with free camping just across the road by the water.
