On the west coast of Flinders Island, within Strzelecki National Park, this headland is known for two curving beaches of white sand, weathered orange granite draped in lichen, and clear water looking out to offshore islands and the peaks of Mount Strzelecki. A gentle coastal track links the beaches and picnic area, and a free national-park campground with basic facilities sits at the southern end. Managed by Tasmania's Parks and Wildlife Service; no fees or bookings apply to the campground.
