Governed by an all-Indigenous board and serving artists across Far North Queensland — including remote communities without art centre access — UMI Arts bridges the gap between grassroots cultural practice and professional exhibition. Paintings, sculpture, textiles, and traditional craft by emerging and established First Nations artists are available for sale. Seventeen years in, it remains the region's lead Indigenous arts organisation.
