Unyoked Vera

Two and a half hours west of Sydney, on Wiradjuri, Gundungurra and Dharug country near Oberon, a single off-grid cabin looks down toward a river across rolling mountain country. The exact spot stays secret until you book, and reaching it means a 680-metre walk in, one of Unyoked's spicier sites. Inside there's heating and little phone reception; outside, a wood-fired bath comes with a bag of firewood for the first soak. Two-night minimum, no pets, and checkout stretched to eleven.
