The Walkabout Creek Hotel, originally the Federal Hotel (1900, licensed 1901), is a landmark outback pub on the Landsborough Highway in McKinlay. Relocated in 1996, it gained fame as the Crocodile Dundee filming location; the original movie bar operates in the beer garden. Serves pub meals (toasties daily, dinners Tues–Sat), cold drinks across 8 taps, and operates a caravan park with accommodation. Friendly country atmosphere with memorabilia throughout.
