Maree Tinker and Steve Johnstone bought this Blackwood River property in 2011 without knowing it had a vineyard. They've since grafted Shiraz onto the original 2004 Chardonnay rootstock, reduced their vines from 8,000 to 2,000 for lower yields, and age everything in single-forest French oak for 10–12 months. Winemaker Bernie Stanlake has been at it since the late 1990s.
