Jeff and Vicki Dewar planted their first 100 acres of vines in Ferguson Valley in 1997, and the estate has been a family operation ever since — their four children grew up on the property. Senior winemaker Kim Horton, formerly of Houghton, leads a team that works from a single 420-acre site. The dragonfly on the label traces back to a neighbour's trout dam.
