The O'Dea family planted their first vines here in the 1980s; today the estate runs 150 hectares of certified organic vineyards outside Canowindra. The anchor is an 1861 steam-powered flour mill, restored in 1994 and still standing on the property. Winemaker Anthony D'Onise — fourth generation, raised on a South Australian vineyard — oversees a range that includes piquepoul blanc, a varietal still rare in the Central Ranges.
