The retail nursery at Edendale, a community environment farm on Gastons Road in Eltham, grows more than 100,000 local native plants a year from seed and cuttings gathered across Nillumbik's reserves and remnant bushland. The public can buy indigenous tubestock and pots here, along with seasonal vegetable seedlings, compost bins and worm farms. A member of Nursery and Garden Industry Victoria. Open daily, 10am to 4.30pm.
