Handmade continental chocolates in the German tradition, produced on Coleraine's main street and sold without artificial ingredients. The range runs to marzipan, hazelnut crisps, Turkish delight, ginger, peppermint sticks and cherry liqueurs cased in dark or milk chocolate, boxed and ribboned for gifts. It is the kind of single-maker confectioner that has largely vanished from country towns: small output, recipes carried out from Bavaria, and a shopfront that pulls visitors and bus groups off the Glenelg Highway. Coleraine is otherwise best known for its arboretum of eucalypts, which makes a well-made praline an unexpected find this far west.
