Coffee in Griffith has long meant a strong Italian-style espresso pulled at the front counter; this small Whybrow Street roastery is the town's attempt at something more deliberate. Working from an industrial bay a short walk from the main street, it roasts single origins and blends in small batches for the surrounding Riverina, supplying cafes and home machines rather than running a busy dine-in room. Alongside the beans it stocks and services espresso gear, from Italian-made machines and grinders to tampers and cold-brew kit, and offers barista training and water-filtration advice, the kind of back-of-house support a country town usually has to source from the city. The roastery keeps limited hours and is best visited by appointment. For a district built on cafe culture but without a specialist roaster until recently, it fills an obvious gap and gives local operators a nearby source of freshly roasted coffee.
