Nine kilometres west of Denmark, in the forested grounds of the Denmark Chocolate Company, two chalets run entirely off-grid on solar, rainwater and on-site wastewater treatment. Serenity is a one-bedroom spa suite; Harmony a two-bedroom unit with a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Both put a wall of glass beside the spa so the forest stays in view, with self-contained kitchens, gas heaters and verandas among native gardens. Opened in late 2024, it suits couples after quiet and a soak in the trees.
