Opened on Prince Street in 1979, this family-run bakery is the longest-established in the Clarence Valley, and it still bakes everything on the premises each morning. The range runs wide: heirloom sourdough loaves, custom celebration cakes, filled donuts and a roster of some twenty-two pies, from the everyday steak to seasonal specials. Four-plus decades of trade have made it a fixture for Grafton locals, and its kitchen supplies bread and pastries wholesale to cafes and businesses across the valley. A second shopfront operates at Coffs Harbour's Jetty Village, but the Grafton store remains the original. Counter service is straightforward and the pace unhurried, the sort of country-town bakery where the pie warmer and the bread shelves do the talking rather than any branding.
