The corner site on 23rd Street has been making alcohol since Renmano — Australia's first co-operatively owned winery — operated here. After lying dormant from 2004, the Bickford's Group restored it and reopened in September 2016. Three copper pot stills, each over a century old and salvaged from other Australian wine regions, now produce brandy, gin, vodka and whisky. The barrel hall carries the scent of raisin and old oak.
