Scott Austin's family has been growing pinot noir, chardonnay, riesling and shiraz from Moorabool Valley limestone since 1990. The cool-climate single-vineyard wines occasionally extend to late harvest riesling and cuvée. The cellar door at Sutherlands Creek runs Thursday to Sunday — an hour from Melbourne, twenty minutes from Geelong.
