Alistair and Catherine Hicks carved their vineyard from a family dairy farm in 2004, planting Shiraz, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay on a hilltop site above the Newry Flats. The elevation delivers sharp day-to-night temperature swings that concentrate flavour. At weekends, the cellar door pairs tastings with wood-fired pizzas and views across the Macalister Irrigation District.
