Bournda NationalPark

SAPPHIRE COAST, TATHRA, NEW SOUTH WALES

Between Tathra and Merimbula on the NSW far south coast, a run of beaches and coastal cliffs takes in two sheets of water, Bournda Lagoon and Wallagoot Lake. The Kangarutha walking track follows the coastline, a shorter loop circles Sandy Creek, and Hobart Beach campground sits by Wallagoot Lake. Vehicle entry is charged daily at self-registration stations, and the park stays quieter than its better-known neighbours along the Sapphire Coast.
