Scott Brandon and friends started this in two tin sheds in 2005; it now seats over 500, with a Hop Terrace and outdoor Paddock overlooking the Alpine Valleys. The hops come from the surrounding valley, the water from the mountains. Each year on International Women's Day, the brewery's female staff brew Fred's Blackberry Pale Ale — a tradition that has quietly become the point.
