Run by volunteers since its 1966 opening, this Casino museum preserves the town and district's early history through tools of trade, implements, furniture, Aboriginal artifacts, newspapers, photographs and diaries. It keeps family files and printed material for research enquiries, and sells local history books. The Society also maintains 19 historical signs around town. Open Wednesday to Friday, with adult admission of $5.
