Volunteer descendants of the Marquis de Ray expedition's survivors run this museum on the Woodburn acreage where roughly 200 destitute Italians settled in 1882, having escaped a failed South Pacific colony to build an Italian-speaking village in the bush. Free entry covers the collection, the 1988 Brisbane Expo Italian Pavilion, a glass studio, café and gift shop. Open daily.
