The building on Belar Avenue, Irymple, is where the Chaffey brothers planted their first 150 acres of wine grapes in 1887. Fourth-generation horticulturist Lance Milne bought it in 2002 and revived table wine production and cellar door sales. A working winery with a museum attached, it's the origin point of an industry that now accounts for more than half of Australia's wine grape output.
