Brothers Jose and Nelio Pestana have run this liquor business since 2003, and in 2022 opened a second store in Guildford inside a historic building once known as Chateau Guildford, on the edge of the Swan Valley. The Guildford shop leans into its location with a strong showing of Swan Valley wines alongside a broader Australian and international list, one of the country's larger whisky ranges, and a deep gin selection. It was named Best Metropolitan Liquor Store and Best Western Australian Liquor Store at the 2024 Liquor Stores Association of WA awards, and picked up Business of the Year and Retailer of the Year honours from the Swan Chamber of Commerce. Open Monday to Saturday, 9:30am to 8pm. For anyone touring the Swan Valley's wineries, it's a credible last stop to fill a case with what's actually being poured locally, chosen by people who have been in the trade for decades.
