Guy Darling planted Koombahla vineyard in 1970 — the first commercial vines in the upper King Valley. His son John now runs the estate with daughters Grace and Sophie, making wines from fruit grown on the same land the family has farmed for over a century. The cellar door sits inside the vineyard, looking out to Mt Cobbler.
