Paul "Bear" Dahlenburg and Lauretta Schulz spent years making other people's wine before founding Eldorado Road in 2010 on a seam of decomposed red granite near the hamlet of Eldorado. The range runs from Fiano and Nero d'Avola to Shiraz from a dry-land Glenrowan vineyard planted in the 1890s — vines Bear rescued from dereliction, still producing without irrigation.
