King Street's former warehouse sat abandoned until 2015, when Foghorn opened as Newcastle's first modern craft brewery inside its art deco bones. The 1800-litre brewhouse feeds tanks directly to taps—no middlemen, no lag. Exposed roof trusses overhead, 250 seats below, and beer that hasn't travelled further than the length of the building.
