The only licensed bar and restaurant on Flinders Island open seven days, looking out over Franklin Sound and the islands scattered through it. Watch the fishing boats unload at the Lady Barron wharf, and the town wake up when the weekly trading boat arrives. Twelve units in an acre of native garden, plus a bunkroom for fishing parties. Crayfish, scallops and scalefish off the local boats, and they stock the Flinders Island wines. Some nights the ukuleles come out.
