Great Ocean RoadSurf Schools

Daily beginner lessons along Victoria's Great Ocean Road, taught in waist-deep water for safety and spread across a string of surf beaches including Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne, Ocean Grove, Breamlea and Wye River. Group and private sessions are available on request, and the operator points beginners toward patrolled beaches where surf clubs and lifeguards are on duty in summer. Torquay, the home of Australian surfing, is among its best-known teaching spots.
