Three restored keeper's cottages stand on a peninsula below the southernmost lighthouse in New South Wales, an hour's drive south of Eden. The verandahs look across Disaster Bay — a coast that has taken many ships — and the whales pass between late May and December. Two cottages adjoin and share a kitchen, each sleeping five; a third stands alone and sleeps six. A caretaker lives on site; the lightstation tour is free.
