Twenty years of route-setting and coaching sit behind the guiding on offer across Canberra's granite and limestone outcrops and the high country around Jindabyne. Sessions run from White Rocks near Queanbeyan — bushland views over the Queanbeyan River on grippy limestone — through to Kambah Rocks on the Murrumbidgee and the multi-pitch granite of Booroomba Rocks in Namadgi National Park, with a Snowy Mountains base at Jindy Rock beside the Lake Jindabyne dam wall. Guides scale the day to the group: half-day tasters for first-timers, full-day skills sessions for climbers wanting to lead their own routes, and private bookings for families and schools. All gear is supplied and no prior experience is needed — the guiding grew out of the long-running K7 Adventures operation, so the route knowledge in these hills runs deep. A solid entry point for climbing in the capital before heading further into the Snowies.
